Perfect for Fall: Zella Hatha Cardigan, $69.
If you don’t have something similar to this yet, why not? That’s what I’m asking myself too. Super versatile; you can wear it almost anywhere. Lightweight enough for hot climates in the fall or layering in colder ones.
Perfect for Fall: BP Moto leggings, $39.
Are these more esspensive than your regular pair of plain leggings? Probably, unless you’re shopping from a fancy athleisure shop like Athleta or Lululemon. But your run-of-the-mill LuLaRoe definitely doesn’t have these rad details. These come in black, too.
Perfect for Fall: LUSH Perfect Roll Tunic, $27.90 (SALE!)
Have leggings or other slim fit pants? This is perfect! Super versatile, but also lightweight and loose fitting to keep you cool and not cling, this tunic is long enough to cover das booty but short enough (and shaped enough) to not look like a muumuu.
Perfect for Fall: Madewell ‘Whisper’ Cotton Tee, $15.90-$19
Dude, a slouchy deep-V shirt is where it’s AT right now. If you haven’t bought anything from Madewell before, you can’t go wrong with anything from the brand. The price point may seem higher for casual stuff than you have bought, but the quality, fit and style is spot-on. They tend to stay in style for a good while as well (good thing because it will probably last a good while too). Kind of the opposite of fast fashion in a way (Zara, H&M, etc).
Perfect for Fall: Topshop Paneled Flippy Miniskirt, $48.
Um, this length may not be everyone’s cup of tea (or, particularly, work in every workplace) but it’s ridiculously cute. This is like a grownup, dressed up version of the running skirts many of the girls at my running club wear (and they all look amazing in this style, no matter their height and body type). This is high waisted too, so it should be flattering around the waist.
Perfect for Fall: Nic+Zoe Mod Twirl Skirt, $148.
Is this a splurge item? In my budget it for sure would be. But damn if it’s not a sleek-modern re-work of the always classic Daisy (or Jordan) from the Great Gatsby. Definitely long enough for most any workplace, it’s kind of amazing. Messy eaters (ahem, Mom) might want to double napkin their laps when eating.
This is my kind of body-con dress. Actually it’s probably the only body con dress I would like to wear (assuming the fabric is thick enough). I love that while it’s slim fitting, it’s also higher necked and long sleeved … and the ruching would be figure flattering. This could be dressed up or down, especially depending on what color you select (it comes in gray and black). If fall is cold where you live, tights or leggings can be added as well as layers on top to stay toasty.
Perfect for Fall: Halogen Brushed J-Hoop Earrings, $29.
Not being a huge accessorizing gal, I’m pretty down with these earrings. They come in gold and silver as well, but the rose gold is mah favorite, hands down.
These are amazing. That is all. I need these, and so do you. And Ray-Bans … you can never go wrong with Ray-Bans.
A fresh update on an always-classic choice. These would be adorable with almost everything on this list.
And for those down days where you don’t want your booty out in leggings, can’t be bothered with jeans and don’t want to look too gross, joggers are the answer. I love Zella workout stuff; the items I have from there have lasted for years and they’re always suuuuuper soft.
Well, that’s it. What’s on your list for fall? Do you have to start layering up early where you live, or is fall for you like it is for me … second summer?
